Rangers linked to Romanian Cristian Pulhac

Rangers have this afternoon been linked to a potential transfer of Pulhac just as he looked certain to join Spanish club Getafe. A transfer fee believed to be in the region of £550k has been mooted for the Romanian attacking left back.

Pulhac currently plays for Dinamo Bucharest and has previously been linked to Inter Milan and Barcelona in 2006 and had a deal to move to Spanish club Valladoid scuppered when the club brought in Asier Del Horno.

RangersMedia proud to sponsor the Garry Lynch Memorial Tournament

RangersMedia are proud to be one of the lead sponsors of  the Garry Lynch Memorial Tournament that is being held this weekend.

A Rangers team consisting of Reserve and under-19 players, possibly a similar team that took on Selkirk yesterday, will take part in a four-team tournament in memory of Rangers youth supporter Garry Lynch. The event, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday July 31st and August 1st at Somervell Park will feature Alloa Athletic, Clydebank, Rangers and the home team Cambuslang Rangers.

Rangers youths victory - Rangers 1:0 Selkirk

Having decided the games in Fraserburgh and Elgin were reserve games and not doing a report, when I saw the lineup at tonight’s game, I really should have reported on what was pretty much an 19′s side in the last two games.

Goalkeeper Scott Gallagher must have felt like a veteran in a side made up of mainly 1st year 19′s and 2nd year 17′s that recorded a comfortable win over Selkirk at Yarrow Park tonight. Read more...
